Friends: How To Make Them, How To Keep Them

A parent/child discussion hosted by Jillian Amodio Yoga and Chesapeake Family Magazine
Friday, November 16, 2018 at 6 PM – 8 PM

For parents and their children ages 6-10 (grades 1-4)

While parents can’t make friends for their children, they can help them develop and practice key social skills.

We all want to raise kids who are kind and respectful. We want them to be well liked by their peers and to understand what it means to be a good friend. Parents can help their children learn key social skills that lead to better friendships.

Join Jillian Amodio in a group parent/child discussion designed to encourage the children to be kind and respectful to themselves and others. We’ll be using the books, American Girl’s Friends: Making Them & Keeping Them by Patti Kelley Criswell, and Speak Up and Get Along by Scott Cooper as a jumping off point.

Use the Facebook event link to reserve your parent/child space.

Held in the office of Chesapeake Family Life magazine at 121 Cathedral Street, 3rd Floor, Annapolis. Call in advance if you can not climb stairs.
