Summer Fun—Day 70: Take the Family Fishing

Fishing is a great way to get your family together outside.

There are tons of spots to fish in Maryland—from piers on Chesapeake Bay tributaries to lakes, rivers and ponds. Maryland fishing licenses are required. However, kids under 16 are not required to have a license.

Bring a smartphone and let your kids try and identify what kinds of fish they are catching.
